Be “eco-friendly”
1. Protect Nature
I am aware that I am entering a protected area with a wealth of plant and animal species, some of which are only found here. These sites contain natural habitats of Community interest, i.e. natural environments where rare or endangered flora and fauna thrive on a European scale. Heritage plant species and numerous animal species, including invertebrates, have been identified. I’m committed to preserving our heritage and its biodiversity:
- I avoid loud demonstrations.
- I don’t go out on the trails and I avoid driving on or trampling the flora along the edges of the trails, especially as it helps to maintain them.
- I do not leave litter or pollution on the road
2 Respect the trails
- I know how important it is for our trails to be part of our earth history
- I respect the trail by riding “responsibly” so as not to damage its integrity
- I am aware of the fact that there will be no deviation from the trail or cutting of the trail
- I don’t use the brakes too much and I avoid locking the rear wheel, which is the main cause of erosion and cobblestones
- I am aware of the importance of the role of man in the preservation of our heritage
3 Communicate and enforce the message
- I make myself an ambassador of these messages of respect for nature and trails, in the interest of the future of our planet and the lands where we express our passion. As the areas I use are shared spaces, I remain courteous to all users.
