The 2nd stage of MAXIAVALANCHE Europ Cup, Marathon Dowhnhill, will take place on 29th and 30th July on the slopes of the famous resort of CERVINIA in the Aosta Valley.
The start of this Italian stage of Maxiavalanche Europ Cup is situated in an exceptional site, on a glacier that makes this race one of the highest in Europe. The 300 riders have been starting from Plateau Rosa, at 3,500 meters for more than 12 years.
Italian hospitality and great tracks for this nice riding weekend
The Valdotain hospitality and the quality of the Bike Park, with its performant and efficient ski lifts, are all arguments that motivate the riders to spend the weekend in Cervinia on 29th and 30th July.
Open to all
The program of the weekend is aimed at pros as well as amateurs and now even Electric bike riders
After free trainings on Friday and official on Saturday morning, the competitors will line up for the start of the Qualifying races in “Cima Bianca” on a very neat track that ends down to the resort.
At the end of these qualifying races, the 100 best riders have access to the Maxiavalanche Europ Cup group. The following race in Maxi Challengers or even Maxi Amateurs according to the number of participants. For all riders, the program includes 2 runs with the same conditions and same track but with separated departures.
For E-Bike lovers
The stage of the EBIKE SERIE by LOISIBIKE (electric bike) will offer to all the enthusiasts of this new family of cycles the possibility to enjoy a full week-end of mountain and ride :
– Saturday departure from the first run of the weekend with a climb via the final of the Maxiavalanche up to Cima Bianca and down on the Qualifications track. Expected total time for the best riders 45 to 50 minutes.
– Second part for the EBIKE SERIE on Sunday with 2 runs (as Maxiavalanche) and a system of bonus points awarded according to the classification of this configuration 100% DH.
A great weekend of Alpine Mountain Biking and the pleasure to meet again all Enduro and Electric bikes lovers on the beautiful tracks of Cervinia.
