Goal FINISHER !

Over the last few years, the TransVésubienne has made a name for itself in the mountain biking world thanks to its avant-garde character, combined with the sporting and personal challenges it imposes on its participants.

Around 88 km and 2800D+ are the “measures” of the 2024 TransVésubienne. This year, it’s time to discover and enjoy long-distance cycling for the privileged few who will cross the finish line after this extraordinary mountain bike epic.

Try your hand at adventure! Solo, Duo or Bike Hiking… on a mountain bike or e-bike on the TransVésubienne Ultra or the TransVésubienne Explorer… There’s something for everyone, so you can taste the pleasure of arriving in Nice after an epic mountain bike crossing!

Back to the prologue

A technical course of 7km, + 50m / – 500m

The TransVésubienne kicks off on Saturday 28 September with the long-awaited return of the prologue to La Colmiane, giving riders the chance to win ‘time bonuses’ that will count towards the following day’s race.
Take part in the prologue on a virtually downhill course from the Pic de la Colmiane to Saint Dalmas at Le Soum du Pra.

Join us for the aperitif and the presentation of the best riders of the prologue at 5pm at La Colmiane.

New TransV KID

For 9 – 14 year olds
The TransV Kid will follow the same route as the adult prologue, starting in waves of 5 riders per category on Saturday 28 September.
There will be two stages, with the first starting at 13:00.
Come and challenge yourself on the Transvésubienne prologue course:
7km, +25 m, -500 m

At the end of the first run, parents must collect their children from Saint Dalmas and take them back to the Colmiane chairlift for the second run.

E-TransV by LOISIBIKE

The TransV, but a real blast!
From La Colmiane to the Baie des Anges, 88 km with 2800 m of climbing, which, when you add the technical difficulties, is a sporting feat in terms of getting to the finish line within the time limit with the appropriate battery change stations.

The neutralisation of two sections of the course will allow a break in the intensity of the race and, above all, the saving of batteries.

Neutralisation of the race:

  • From the start at La Colmiane to the Col de la Madelaine (6.25km, +316m)
  • From Lantosque to Les Crottes (Loda) (500w battery change) (6.7km, +310m)

It is forbidden to stop or use technical assistance in the neutralised zones, otherwise you will be penalised at the finish.

The E-TransV remains one of the most demanding races…

Going beyond yourself, Tenacity, Perseverance…

The E-TransV is a challenge against yourself.

Note that the TransVésubienne Explorer is also open to e-bikes with free battery management.

ATTENTION

During our last recce of the race in the Peïra-Cava/Turini sector, we noticed that the paths above 1400m were completely blocked by fallen trees caused by the Aline storm, which had already destabilized them in October 2023. Late snowfalls and a storm in the sector then completed the work.

The public services in charge of the rehabilitation were faced with a project that they were unlikely to be able to complete by the September 29 deadline.

As a result, the TV race directors are currently working on a reorientation of the route. While the first section from La Colmiane to Lantosque and the connection to the Col de la Porte via Loda have already been confirmed, the rest of the route should be decided early next week.
For those of you who would like to do some reconnaissance, don’t hesitate to contact us at 04.93.43.51.54: we will give you all the information you need.

For your information, the start of the TransVésubienne Explorer will be in Lantosque.

DUO RANKING!

Alone we go faster, together we go further!

Register in teams of two!

Together we’re stronger! Stay together all the way to the finish line and try to win the race as a pair. You’ll have to help each other out, because only the time of the last person to cross the finish line counts for the team, plus any “solidarity gap” between the first and last team members if the team doesn’t cross the finish line together. This formula will encourage duos to stay together until the finish line, for better or for worse 😉.

Each runner registered as a duo will also be ranked individually only in the TransVésubienne Ultra Muscular overall standings.
